Included

  • Removal and disposal of existing siding
  • Inspection and repair of sheathing where needed
  • House wrap (Tyvek or equivalent) — full replacement
  • New siding install (vinyl, fiber-cement, or specified)
  • All exterior trim: corners, windows, doors, rakes, fascia
  • Soffit, frieze, and gable vents where applicable
  • Caulking, paint (for fiber-cement), and finish work
  • Full jobsite cleanup and nail sweep

Priced Separately

  • Rotted sheathing beyond normal spot-replacement
  • Window replacement (common companion project, scoped separately)
  • Gutter replacement (often done together)
  • Structural repair (mold remediation, major rot)
  • Shutters or decorative elements reinstalled (if reusing) or new

Three common price tiers.

Siding pricing depends on material choice, square footage, and trim complexity. Here are typical NoVA ranges.

From first call to last coat of paint.

Ask our AI
Vinyl or Hardie — what's the real difference?

Vinyl is lighter, cheaper, and faster to install — but it can fade and look plastic. Hardie fiber-cement looks like painted wood, lasts longer, handles hail better, and has a factory-painted finish that stays sharp. Hardie costs 50–80% more but is almost always the better long-term choice in Northern Virginia.

Can you match my existing siding color?

For vinyl: usually yes if it's a standard color from a current manufacturer. For Hardie ColorPlus: pick from their ~20 factory colors. For painted siding: we match to any paint color. Exact matches to discontinued colors usually aren't possible.

Will you find rot under the old siding?

Almost always some, usually minor — a few sheets of plywood around windows or at corners. We include spot-repair in the quote and itemize any major issues before proceeding. In 10+ years we've never hit a wall so rotten it required full structural work.

Do you replace windows at the same time?

If you're replacing windows in the next 5 years, do it now — installing new siding around old windows and then later replacing them damages the siding. We can bundle both or coordinate with your window contractor.

How long is my house 'exposed'?

Very briefly. We strip and wrap one side at a time so your house is never fully exposed. Tyvek goes on within hours. Even in rain, your interior stays dry.

HOA approval needed?

In most Northern Virginia HOAs, yes — siding material and color typically require ARB approval. We help prepare the submission with photos and product specs. Allow 4–8 weeks for approval before scheduling.
